This Manual Handling Training Course helps employers ensure that they and their employees are sufficiently trained in the principles and practices of safe manual handling.

This course provides the necessary information and training for organisations to understand more about the risks associated with manual handling, how to undergo a risk assessment and how to ensure appropriate control measures are put in place.

It follows the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR) and provides a practical guide for managing and carrying out safe and healthy manual handling. The course also features videos, diagrams, that will help you to understand safe handling practise in your workplace.

• Manual handling operations which are hazardous to health.
• How to prevent injury and harm from manual handling.
• Legal requirements with regards to manual handling operations in the workplace.

Assessment

This course takes approximately half a day to complete. Delegates will be expected to engage in a number of involved group activities. Our trainers are very experienced and will be able to help guide delegates throughout the session. A certificate will be awarded on completion of the course. this course can also be included as a package deal when you sign up for the Mandatory training.
